Aluminium foil for packaging

Aluminum is a relatively active metal. It is easily oxidized in air to produce a dense solid oxide film (AL2O3). The oxide film formed on the surface of aluminum has a good protective effect on solid and liquid aluminum.

The corrosion resistance of aluminum alloys varies with the alloying elements. Generally, the corrosion resistance of AL-Mn and AL-Mg alloys is better, and the corrosion resistance of most composite aluminum alloys is not as good as the first two. The excellent corrosion resistance of aluminum is used in the chemical industry as liquid natural gas pipeline and cooling pipeline installation, oil refining units, etc.
